Inside Sales Representative

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cold call canvassing from a database & working through semi-qualified leads to further qualification process and ascertain lead status.
  • Pass larger qualified leads to a Regional Account Manager as appropriate.
  • Maintain and track appropriate prospect information by utilizing contact management software that is provided by sales management.
  • Follow up on all sales leads in a timely manner.
  • Provide sales management and client contact progress reports as required.
  • Provide customer feedback to Sales Department/Marketing Department and assist in the development of marketing programs to grow the business.
  • Oversee Trade Show lead follow up.
  • Sell Mighty Messaging services via telephone to prospect base using virtual demonstrations of product over internet.
  • Assist in coordinating information with marketing including case studies/press release candidates from closed sales.
  • Maintain familiarity with all Mighty Messaging technical advances.
  • Assist in determining appropriate contact(s) at prospect site when key contact is unknown.
  • Meet/exceed operational call goals as well as other performance metrics that are established.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills:

  • This position requires a dynamic and hard working individual with excellent communication skills, good telephone etiquette, as well as the ability to work well with others in a close team environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Internet is REQUIRED.
  • Familiarity with email/messaging functionality is essential and must be Microsoft Office literate.
  • Familiarity with various contact management software is desirable.
  • Good product presentation skills are essential.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, prioritize workloads and work under time constraints is mandatory.
  • Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • This individual should be goal oriented, highly confident, self-motivated, with an outgoing personality, who is adaptable to new challenges and a creative problem solver.
  • Time management skills are essential.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of sales or telemarketing experience is required. Prior experience in sales is a bonus.

Education:

  • A Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience.

Position is located at our New Jersey Headquarters.
